6 Rectory Court Accessibility Statement
Rectory Court is positioned about five minutes’ walk away from the town centre although this includes a slight gradient. A car can be parked directly in front of the house within a metre of the front door. The ground floor is on the flat with no steps and all doors are standard 2' 6" wide except the front door which is 2' 9" wide. There is about a 4" step up into the house and down into the garage.
The kitchen is roomy but has been built to standard dimensions for work top heights, cupboards etc.
The bedrooms and bathroom are up an easy flight of stairs with a landing half way up. The toilet is in the bathroom which also contains a bath with adequate grip rails with an electric shower over plus a wash basin. There is no toilet on the ground floor. The house was rewired in 2006 so all light switches and sockets conform to modern standards.
Access to the court yard has to be via the garage since there is a step from the lounge.

The apartment is situated about 20 minutes’ walk from Tenby town centre and beaches. A car can be parked in the grounds of the house but the apartment is accessed via an easy flight of garden steps and the into the apartment via a 2' 9" wide door. There is about a 4" step up into the building but from then on it is all on the flat, but all other door are 2' 6" wide. The lounge is roomy as is the bedroom. The bathroom is more confined and contains a shower, toilet and wash basin. The kitchen is a galley type and therefore movement for a wheelchair would be difficult.
